Afterschool Programme 

 

Our Young Artist Programme is a comprehensive six-week theme-based programme allowing children aged 7 to 10 to complete a series of work all the while learning more about Art Theories and History. They will practice a variety of techniques and mediums and create a series of artworks revolving around one subject. In our First Module of the School Year, we explore "reflection".

 

Teen Art Mentorship

Monday & Wednesday September 7th to 23rd / 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Ages 11-18

Over the course of two days a week for three weeks, artist and teacher Hana Akram will guide Teens age 11 to 18 through developing their own project and exploring their idea through a variety of artworks in different mediums including drawing, multimedia, watercolor, and acrylic paint and clay work. Teaching ideation and building your child's confidence, the program will run Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30pm to 6:30pm for three weeks (six days total). Students must commit to completing the entire course.

Short'n'Sweet

Tuesday September 8, 15, 22 & 29 / 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Short'N'Sweet (as the name says), this Art Club for children age 4 to 6 takes place every Tuesday 4:30 to 5:30 and will focus on one project each week. Designed to encourage the exploration of various mediums and techniques in a holistic and integrative learning environment, these classes will boost your child's confidence and bring joy to independent learning.

In this programme, you will work independently to take your idea from concept to completion, creating a series of artworks in a variety of mediums. Perfect for anyone who wants to build up their portfolio and get ready for higher education in Arts, you will learn the importance of the thought process behind an art project.

Our Short'n'Sweet is an extracurricular, holistic integrated learning experience for children to develop self-confidence and enjoy independent learning. Designed to allow children to explore a variety of techniques and mediums, each week focuses on one art project paired with a topic from another academic subject such as geography, biology, math, literature or history.
