OCCUPY provides artists the opportunity to take over thejamjar’s front window for a few months during the year on a rotating basis. thajamjar's prime location at Alserkal Avenue offers the artist exposure at one of the most important art hubs in the world. Every few months we send a call out to invite an artist to ‘OCCUPY’ our window with their art.
/ About the Artist
Ola Dajani is a textile artist and embroiderer with practice that stems from her fascination with materials, structures, techniques, patterns, colours and dimensions. Through the intricate process of contemporary hand embroidery, doll making and mask making, Ola continues to explore the role that textile and fibre play in the personification of emotions and perception while exploring her memories and experiences using storytelling through her work.
