Interactive Installations
These interactive installations invite Quoz Fest visitors to jump in, play, and shape the artwork through movement, touch, and curiosity. What begins as a structured surface quickly transforms as participants rotate elements, shift patterns, and set light and colour in motion. Every interaction changes the experience, creating artworks that are never the same twice.
As you move through the installations, reflections scatter, forms spin, portraits evolve, and optical effects appear and disappear. Simple actions lead to surprising results, encouraging exploration, experimentation, and shared discovery. Whether you interact for a moment or linger to play, each contribution adds to a constantly changing visual landscape.
Created for visitors of all ages, these works celebrate creativity as a collective experience. They invite you to break the rules, embrace a little chaos, and discover how art can come alive when everyone takes part.

Fragments of Light is an interactive art installation that invites participants to explore light as a shifting, ever-changing material. A structured arrangement of reflective cubes forms the base of the work, appearing orderly at first glance. Through touch and movement, visitors are encouraged to rotate and adjust the cubes, disrupting this rigid form and setting light in motion.
As each surface turns, it catches, fractures, and redirects light, creating a dynamic play of reflections that continuously transforms the space. No single viewpoint remains the same, patterns shift, surfaces dissolve, and new compositions emerge with every interaction. Through reflection, movement, and participation, Fragments of Light reveals how structure can be broken apart and reimagined, turning solid form into a living, luminous experience.
Spinstorm is an interactive installation that explores disruption, movement, and controlled chaos through playful participation. A wall of rotating circles invites visitors to twist each element clockwise and anti-clockwise, setting off ripples of motion across the surface. What begins as simple rotation quickly evolves into optical illusions, swirling effects, and moments of visual instability.
Each circle is decorated with bold colours and striking patterns that heighten contrast and amplify the sense of motion. As participants spin and shift the elements, individual designs clash, align, and separate, forming a constantly evolving tapestry shaped by collective interaction. Spinstorm reveals how purposeful disruption and shared movement can transform a structured surface into a living, dynamic field of colour, rhythm, and visual play.
Portrait Playground is a lively, collaborative installation that turns portraiture into an open ended act of exploration and transformation. Long sheets of paper stretch across, creating a shared canvas for a playful portrait adventure.
Using color pencils, textural oil pastels, mixed materials, children experiment freely with shapes, colours, and patterns, layering bold marks and personal details. As the portraits evolve, realism gives way to abstraction, and predictability is replaced by surprise. The wall gradually becomes a vibrant gallery of expressive, ever-changing portraits, celebrating individuality, imagination, and the joy of creative disruption through collective making.
