United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile and the governing law is the local law. Visa and Master Card and AED will be accepted for payment. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

thejamjar will not accept any responsibility for any potential damage or loss of property while visiting our studio.

thejamjar will not be responsible for any damage to clothes, bags, and other property from the use of products in the studio.

Customers using the website who are Minors/under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.

Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction
records and "www.thejamjardubai.com" policies and rules. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account. All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. "www.thejamjardubai.com" will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.

Merchant takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies.

However, thejamjardubai.com cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.

The merchant is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

Any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.

The displayed price and currency at the checkout page, will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency.

Refund Policy

Refunds for payments made via credit or debit card may take between 10 and 45 days to reflect in the customer’s account, subject to the processing timelines of the issuing bank.

For payments made through the in-studio card terminal, refunds may be processed on the same working day during official business hours, at the sole discretion of thejamjar LLC. Where same-day processing is not feasible, the refund will be completed within 5 to 7 business days.

For online payments, refunds will be processed within 3 to 7 working days from the date the refund request is initiated by thejamjar.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as originally received. Accordingly, cash payments will be refunded in cash, and card payments will be refunded to the same card used for the transaction.

Payment Confirmation

VAT

Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt.

The UAE has now issued Federal Law No 8 of 2017 for Value-Added Tax (VAT) (the "Law"), Under the Law, a 5% VAT will be charged on all goods and services, except a limited number of items that are exempted.

Photography

Customers who register for a workshop/class/DIY/event organised by thejamjar hereby release their rights to their images for marketing purposes. thejamjar will not sell or lend the images to a third party. If a customer does see their image being used by a different entity, they must contact them directly.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations, refunds, and credits are subject to the terms set out below and shall be processed strictly in accordance with thejamjar’s Refund Policy.

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. Where a refund is approved, it shall be processed through the original mode of payment used at the time of purchase. Refund timelines may take up to 45 days, depending on the payment provider and issuing bank.

Workshops & Services

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled workshop or service are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled workshop or service may, at the sole discretion of thejamjar, be eligible for a refund or issued as store credit to the client’s account for future use which will expire in one year.
All workshops are otherwise non-refundable.
Participants may request to reschedule once only, provided a minimum of 24 hours’ prior notice is given and subject to availability.

Any approved refunds shall be issued strictly via the original payment method, and any approved credits shall be applied to the client’s account and may be used in accordance with thejamjar’s terms and conditions.

Canvas Policy

thejamjar can hold on to your artworks for up-to 1 month at the studio from the time of purchase. If the artwork has not been picked up or requested after, it will automatically become the property of thejamjar and we will be free to use it for any purpose, whether recycling, re-purposing or otherwise.

Parking

Parking at Alserkal Avenue can be a bit of an art form!

We recommend arriving early to snag a spot, either with the Alserkal Avenue valet or in the RTA parking.

- Valet Service and Pick-Up/Drop-Off Stations: Main Entrance and a second valet station has been installed at the Al Khail Street entrance. Both will continue to offer 2 hours of complimentary valet service for our paying guests between 1pm and 5pm. Tickets must be stamped with thejamjar Logo.

Parking restrictions are beyond our control, so plan ahead and enjoy a stress free visit.
